My name is Adrian Owen and I have run an online weight management program since 2015 and have helped thousands of people throughout New Zealand, Australia, and worldwide. I've gone through my own transformation and lost 75 kgs after my Doctor gave me 5 years to live. I was morbidly obese with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and about to start medication for type 2 diabetes. I was your statistic!!
I have been working towards this for a couple of years, and to be working with local DHB and MoH is a dream come true for me.

Why do the Program?
From what I understand, you have been chosen to lead the country through some major changes in the coming weeks, and if you are not looking after the vessel that takes your great minds and hearts into the trenches, sometimes the fuel you are feeding it can slow you down, cloud your thinking and hinder any endurance our people need.

No bull shit and fluff as we don’t have the luxury of time, but being in KETOSIS and using fasting increases your energy exponentially (it’s the main reason I do it) and clears your mind of any brain fog. Eating KETO also reduces hunger so I’m not thinking about food all the time, you end up eating less and losing body fat in the process. Yes there are exercises you will need to do in the mornings but these are under 20min and will release endorphins into your system to make you feel good and give you energy for the day. John Kirwan the ex All Black was 100% right when he said “The connection between your physical health and mental health are one and the same, we need to move!”

What’s in the Program?
Individual Ketogenic nutrition plans are made specific to YOU and the information you provide for me via an online form. The majority of my clients (and me) use a High Fat, Low Carb or ketogenic way of eating. I have found it the fastest way to lose fat and keep it off. Throughout the program I will teach you about getting into ketosis so we are using fat to fuel our body. This, combined with intermittent fasting, has successfully stripped the fat off me and my clients without having to adopt a deprivation mindset. This way of eating is enjoyable, nourishing and sustainable.

Home Workouts
As you go through the program your body will get fitter and lighter, and we need to stay in front of these changes so we continue to make progress. Every four weeks I supply you with a new exercise program to complete in the comfort of your own home.

Sunday online Zoom group meetings
I consider these are the most important. We talk about the ketogenic diet and how our bodies use fat as fuel. We also cover other aspects of training. I am there to answer any questions you might have, but also there is a lot to be said for accountability. Many of my clients find this component of the program contributes to their continued progress and commitment.

Day or night, fire through any questions or comments you might have, and I will get back to you ASAP. We also have a 400+ strong group support on Facebook. You’ll be able to find and share your own amazing ketogenic dishes. Community is a great component of this program.
